BRAIN CANDY

Brain Candy are a New York City based Punk/Alternative Rock band, formed in February of 2022. The band has heavy Hard Rock riffs, melodic leads, hooky choruses, and an in your face attitude. They recorded their debut EP at Invisible Realm Studios in Bushwhick, NY with producer Oliver Palamores(Gojira, Mastodon, Zakk Wylde) and had it mixed and mastered with legendary NYHC producer Don Fury(Agnostic Front, Gorilla Biscuits,Sonic Youth, Quicksand) at his studio Don Fury Studio in Troy, NY. The band played their very first show at Tompkin’s Square Park in the East Villge with Mike S.O.S for a Metal and Punk show. Brain Candy has played many shows in the New York City area, including Berlin, Lucky 13, The Bowery Electric, Young Ethel’s, Gold Sounds, Bar Freda, and Mother Pug’s, among many others. The band filmed their first official music video for their first single “Can’t Pretend” with director Bryce Smith. The video has an edge of deviant behavior and sexual themes. The band has tons of energy, buzzsaw guitars, and a driving rhythm section. Brain Candy continues to thrill fans with their kinetic live shows.
