GOTHAM CITY RIOT

Gotham City Riot, formed in New York City in 2014 and after a few lineup changes, the band became a Punk and Post-Punk trio in 2018. The band recorded their first EP with Jon Pozzuto (Idolizers) on vocals and lead guitars, in 2014 at Mike Machinist studio of Shinobi Ninja fame. The band played many Shows in NYC, and in 2015 was later joined by Edward Rasion on Vocals and guitars, they recorded a secondary EP “Nowhere to Go” in 2017, the record was never fully released, after parting ways with their original singer. The trio consists of Edward Raison(Black Statues) on vocals and guitars, Tay Malloy on bass(Odd Zero, Medusa scare) and drummer Johnny Holmes(Radio Zero, Medusa Scare) The band has played Berlin, The Bowery Electric, Arlene’s Grocery, The Mercury Lounge, Gold Sounds, and many other venues . The band has a fiery and artistic sound, with melodic guitars, punchy bass, and tight and intricate drums. The songs are choppy, driving and surprise with interesting song structures, spewing raw Punk energy. The band draws from their creative and vast influences, while creating a sound all their own.
