JPH X THE DANGEROUS ANIMALS

JPH, a talented songwriter, performer, and recording artist hailing from the Philippines, has fervently pursued his musical passion since 1996. Besides crafting his own songs, he plays a pivotal role in producing their accompanying music videos.

Following the disbandment of Speakeasy, JPH emerged as a solo artist under the moniker “JPH and The Band of Criminals” in 2013, continuing his artistic journey.

Currently based in Adelaide, South Australia, he collaborates with local musicians and forms “THE DANGEROUS ANIMALS.” as his supporting act.

Since joining Triple J Unearthed in 2023, JPH has achieved key milestones in his music career. He has released 7 singles, including 2 Christmas themed tracks, which helped him connect with a diverse audience. Alongside these, he has produced a live album and 2 full-length albums, showcasing his evolving sound and dedication to creating original music.

JPH has also produced 4 music videos, with 2 filmed in Adelaide, bringing his music to life visually and strengthening his presence in the local scene. These videos have been an essential part of expressing his artistic vision.

As the defacto of Bonzo Colada Entertainment, JPH has organized 10 shows at renowned Adelaide venues like The Gov, Henley Beach, Broadcast Bar, Metropolitan Hotel, and BrewBoys Brewery. These events have not only supported his music but have also provided a platform for underground original acts, reflecting his commitment to the local music scene.

Next year, JPH will launch his own podcast, “The Bonzo Colada Show with JPH,” focusing on highlighting fresh, original talent and exploring Adelaide’s vibrant music culture. This venture will allow him to engage with musicians and audiences in a new way. Balancing his work as a musician, event organizer, and podcast host, JPH remains committed to growing his career while supporting and promoting the underground music community in Adelaide.
