PHEAR
Toronto, Canada’s PHEAR are taking their Thrash/Power Metal Sound and showing the listening public that “Classic Metal” never goes out of style. Their passion and determination has led to the launch of several videos on YouTube, as well as the release of their full length, award winning album “Instanitarium”, and their second critically acclaimed release “the Curse Lives On”.

All this done by them plus a bombastic live show that has been described as “Arena Caliber”.
SO who are PHEAR? Well, it turns out these Canadians have some history.
Patrick Mulock (Lead Vocals):
Patrick had a 2 album stint with Metal Blade Recording Artist EILODON, with Glen and Shawn Drover, formerly of MEGADETH. Prior to that, he fronted Canadian band RAMPAGE.
Pat Rogers (Lead & Rhythm Guitars):
Pat was a member of the Toronto band PROFANER, who won the 2016 Metal Band Canada competition, and placed second at the International Wacken Open Air Festival.
Alex Zubair (Lead & Rhythm Guitars):
Alex has 30 years experience playing metal with countless musicians and bands across the globe, such as “Burn to Black”, “Nadar Sadek”, “Iomair” and “Nephelium”. He placed in the finals on Banger’s MTV’s Shredder’s of Metal season 1.
Chris Boshis (Bass Guitar):
Bosh has been playing bass for 30 years, and has spent time in a wide variety of metal bands around the greater Toronto area. He has also had the opportunity to audition for 2 of his favourite bands, DISTURBED and MACHINE HEAD.
Andrew Suarez (Drums):
Going back as long as 2004, Andrew has played drums in over 17 bands. In 2019, he was a part of the Toronto band “The Slyde”, who won the Canadian Wacken metal battle, and went on to play the festival that year. He also performed on the 3rd season of the web series “Shredders of Metal”, featuring Chris Adler (of Lamb of God) and produced by Sam Dunn (of Banger TV).

What’s next for PHEAR?
Whenever the band is asked “What’s next?”, they all answer the same … “EVERYTHING!” … “Bigger, better, LOUDER!”. They want every metalhead in the world to know who they are! They love what they do, and want all their fans to come away from a Phear experience with their minds blown and wanting more! They treat every show as an EVENT, a MOMENT, a MEMORY! They want to leave their mark! The first track on their second album “The Curse Lives On”, is the band’s first official cover track .. Iron Maiden’s 13 minute masterpiece “Rime of the Ancient Mariner”! And why did they choose this as their first cover? … One word … EPIC! This has been their only mission statement … to make Phear EPIC!
They are extremely passionate and driven and are always thinking of new ways to entertain their fans.
On Jan 10, 2017, PHEAR had the honour of opening for German Metal Legend UDO DIRSCHNEIFER at The Mod Club in Toronto. Since then, they’ve had many more memorable live experiences, including opening for THE DEAD DAISIES (Aug24/18) at the Phoenix concert theatre in Toronto, opening for Stryper (May24/18) at The Rockpile in Toronto, and opening the pre-show for legends and heroes IRON MADEN (Aug9/19) at Budweiser Stage.
It’s a very exciting time for Phear as they prepare to release their 3rd album, which promises to be their heaviest, and most accomplished to date! …. The world awaits ….
