THE LOVEBOMBERS

Combining unsubtle glam metal charm with persuasive, anthemic songwriting hooks, 4-piece Lismore rock band The Lovebombers are quickly building a reputation as one of the rising forces of Australia’s rock scene off the back of their debut record ‘Decent Exposure’, which was released in late 2023.

Leaning into a faux-vacuous facade by their charismatic, swaggering and guitar slinging front man Jordan Smith, The Lovebombers have set forth on a path to reignite the rock and roll torch that has been gallivanting it’s raucous hue around the globe for decades yonder by artists such as Van Halen, Warrant, Ratt and The Darkness.

Decent Exposure’s lead single, ‘I Still Need Your Love’, garnered attention and critical acclaim throughout Australia, landing rotation spots on commercial radio stations including Triple M, RebelFM, 100.9ZZZFM and Triple G, aswell as Aus Music Weekly - a syndicated program across roughly 60 stations nationwide.

“The Lovebombers don’t just play rock ‘n’ roll —they resurrect it, inject it with steroids, and parade it down Main Street. Imagine, if you will, a world where Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, The Darkness, and the yacht-rocking historians of FM radio had a lovechild. Jordan Smith, the maestro of this merry band, weaves a sonic tapestry that’s dripping with the glitz of Van Halen and the cheeky bravado of Steel Panther, yet it never feels like a mere retro romp.

..But The Lovebombers aren’t just looking in the rearview mirror. They drive this beast forward, full throttle, into a landscape that’s both strangely familiar and exhilaratingly new. Their sound is an alchemical mix—dense vocal harmonies that could give Queen, Def Leppard, Bryan Adams, and Extreme a run for their money, all wrapped up in a texture that’s as rich as it is nuanced” - Vince Leigh, ARPromotion (Ex-Pseudo Echo, Tina Arena, John Farnham)

The Lovebombers consist of Jordan Smith (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Jackson Somerville (Drums), Braden Smith (Bass) and Ethan Reilly (Rhythm Guitar
