Shockwave City is a five-piece hard rock band from Brisbane, Australia. Formed in 2026 the band delivers powerful riffs, memorable hooks and high-energy live performances with a modern take on classic hard rock.
Built on a passion for original music, the band combines anthemic songwriting with explosive stage energy, to create songs that connect with the audience. Shockwave City is comprised of experienced musicians having eut their teeth in bands such as Black Whiskey, Sound Affliction and HISS. With a wealth of experience, various members have played nationally with bands such as Stryper, Faster Pussycat, Rose Tattoo, Sisters Doll, The Poor, and many other legendary acts.
Alongside their music, the band has developed a distinctive visual identity through their mascot, Betty, and the ongoing Betty's Rock 'n' Roll Circus series, expanding the Shockwave City world beyond the stage. Currently recording material for their debut album, Shockwave City continue to build noroéntum ,with a growing catalogue of original songs and energetic live establishing themselves as one of Australia's premier emerging hard rock acts.
