In Charge was born in the bedroom of vocalist guitarist Chris Rae in 2022. Unfulfilled by his daily 9/5 day job, he decided to pursue his true calling in life — music. Later that year he met drummer Kevin Fitzpatrick and bassist Jason Sheerin, who were both eager to reignite their own burning passion for music. The trio quickly forged a sound power, purpose and passion, paving the way for the full elecrifying band line-up.
Their debut single “Wondering What You’re Thinking” caught national attention, earning a feature in The Daily Record for its inventive music video. Since then, they’ve released a string of singles that have racked up over 250,000 streams worldwide, reaching listeners across Europe, the USA, South America, and the Far East.
With regular airplay on local station CamGlen Radio — including “Keep On Dreaming” being crowned Track of the Month — and a spot on Spotify’s Top Scottish Artists playlist Scotify, In Charge’s profile has continued to rise. Late 2024 saw them sign with respected indie label Golden Robot Records, support UK rock heavyweights Black Spiders in Glasgow, and close the year with their most ambitious releases yet.
In 2025, they brought their high‑impact live show to an unexpected stage — the Beard and Moustache Championships in Glasgow — proving their ability to connect with any crowd. With a growing reputation, a loyal global fanbase, and an unshakable drive, In Charge are powering into their next chapter with the same conviction that started it all.
