Reflection of Flesh is a brutal, melodic metal band from the Harbor District in Milwaukee, WI, formed in 2017. Drawing from many elements across different genres, they have developed their sound following dark guitar grooves, thundering bass lines, and powerful/intricate drumming mixed with frightening vocals. The band consists of Philip Proite (Bass/Vocals), Garrett Smith (Guitars) and Chris Oelke (Drums).
Reflection of Flesh extensively performed across the Midwest region 2017-2020. At the end of 2021 and into 2022, they toured across the United States with bands such as Battlecross, The Breathing Process, The Convalesence, Necronomicon, Alukah, Blood of Angels, and WoR, covering 27,000 miles across 26 of the contiguous states.
Reflection of Flesh has released two full length albums (2017 and 2024) and two EPs (2019 and 2021). The band proudly endorses Scorpion Percussion, Centent Cymbals USA, No Nuts Percussion, Dirtbag Clothing, InTune Guitar Picks, DR Strings, MG Bass, BC Rich and Emperor Cabinets.
