The Corners recently regrouped and rethought their sound. After some time they’re back with a new vibe of indie/alt rock. Miles and Gabe had been playing and making music together since early highschool with Jordan and Alex joining in once Miles and Gabe started studying at Macquarie University. Their uniqueness as songwriters comes from the collaboration and unity they have as musicians, bouncing ideas off each other like it's a heated tennis match. With each hit resulting in a slick riff or a catchy chord progression.
Their influences consist primarily of british indie rock, with artists such as The Smiths, Blur, XTC and the Arctic Monkeys. While also taking on some American influences like the Cage The Elephant, The Strokes and Wallows. Together they continue to enjoy writing music with their new EP THWIP out now!
