Born and raised by Finnish parents in Länna, Sweden, a small village of 900 inhabitants, 20 km from Sweden's 4th largest city Uppsala. Uppsala is located 70 km north of the capital Stockholm.
Since the mid eighties Aki has done all sorts of gigs, both with original music and cover bands. Since the year 2000 as a professional. To this date he has done more than 1800 gigs mostly in Scandinavia but also in Spain and England.
After TV shows, booking and backing up the Swedish artist elite it was time to release a solo album in 2011. The Road Less Travelled came the same year as a move to the UK. And now, after moving to Spain in 2017, the total solo album count is 13!
Not only does Aki write his own music, he also plays most of the instruments as well: guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards & drums! When it comes to the more intricate drum details his long time friend in Sweden Alvaro Svanerö lends a hand. Alvaro is also mixing and mastering most of Aki´s albums.
Apart from making music, Aki also tracks guitar solos for various projects, from blues to heaviest of metal. All composing and tracking of instruments happens in his Worldhouse Studio at home in the south of Spain, Costa Del Sol.
