Blue Madness is a hard rock band from Spain that takes influence from dynamics and analog sound of the 80s, in the style of Whitesnake, Journey, Van Halen, Thin Lizzy, TOTO or Blue Öyster Cult. Founded in 2014, it was dissolved shortly after when it ran out of a drummer and was unable to find a replacement. In 2022 the three original members reunited with a new drummer, an old friend. That actual line up consists of Edgar Sánchez (Vocals, Guitar), Manuel Rhodes (Bass), Alvaro García (Piano, Synths, Organ) and Juan Aguado (Drums, Percussion). Edge of the City was their first single, launched in december 2022 and released in cassette months later. Side A recovers the AOR song that began to be written in the first stage of the band and brings back memories about the city of Vienna. In Side B comes a cover of the classic “Walking in the Shadow of the Blues” from the Lovehunter album. Batlands is their most recent launch, a new single with two original songs inspired by the universe of motorcycles, bats and rock and roll from Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman records.
